Drawing What You Can’t See: Lessons in Illustrating the Deep Earth

I was lucky to be able to work with an amazing group of people on some abstract, and mostly unseen parts of Earth. It wasn’t always easy, but the researchers of the DCO were patient and many are talented artists. We always found a way to communicate their findings through graphics.
