I was fortunate to be the art director on the team tasked with the creation of a campaign to mark the 150th anniversary of The Boston Globe.
The Globe commissioned Boston’s Poet Laureate, Porsha Olayiwola, to write a poem marking the newspaper’s milestone. We recorded Porsha reading selections of her poem to use as the voice of the campaign. The visuals were curated from The Globe’s enormous archive of front pages, photographs, and articles.
We created three TV spots, multiple outdoor boards, and social media posts to celebrate the anniversary. We also designed an outdoor exhibit in Boston’s Seaport District.
